Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd., a Government of India Enterprise, launched its exclusive MSME Air Ticketing Portal during the CII Eastern Region – MSME Business Connect 2026 held on March 6, 2026 at Kolkata.
The portal was formally launched by Shri Rajesh Pandey, IAS Additional Chief Secretary Department of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Government of West Bengal in the presence of Mr. Adhip Nath Palchaudhuri, Chairman & Managing Director, Balmer Lawrie and Chairman CII ER PSU Subcommittee, eminent dignitaries and members of the MSME community.
Designed to simplify business travel for MSMEs, the portal offers real-time bookings across more than 100 airlines, special MSME fares, no service or convenience fees, minimal cancellation charges, complimentary meal and seat selection with 24×7 call centre support and complete transparency in booking and pricing.
The launch received an encouraging response from the MSME community, with 75 MSMEs registering on the portal during the event.
Through this initiative, Balmer Lawrie Travel & Vacations aims to provide MSMEs with a reliable, transparent and cost-effective platform for managing their business travel requirements, while strengthening its commitment to supporting the growth of the MSME ecosystem.
The event brought together industry experts, policymakers and business leaders to deliberate on challenges and opportunities for MSMEs in the Eastern Region through a series of focused sessions.
